The human race is on pause as far as evolution goes. When a race of animals is allowed as much food and water as needed they can grow exponentially. But one day, our race will be forced to plateau by some unforeseen thing. When the human race is put to the test is when natural selection will kick back in and only the most suited to the conditions will survive.

@David just because u have people in your family and their IQ is over 115 doesnt mean that this is a lie, it just means that the majority of people with 5 kids are stupid since all stupid people can look forward to is sex.

well 6 people in my family one mother and 5 children. including me as one of those children the amount of offspring one had does not mean they have a low IQ, but the human race is failing with all this war and hate going around, that is why the aborigines(natives of Australia) are dieing out on purpose..

I don’t think thats true. Should technology suddenly fail us I think you’ll find humanity a lot more resourceful and sane then you think.

I disagree, with the idea we are “de-evolving”, yes we may no longer be suited to survive in a wild without all our technology, but we are still evolving by growing smarted and creating better ways to survive in our world. We don’t need to fight for our life and most people never will. natural selection may not apply to the human race anymore, but we are still becoming a better species I hope.

No doubt the majority of todays humans are not suited for real survival without the technological umbilical cords that we are attached to. Humans would not survive long if we were to be somehow thrust into a modern day dark ages. After a very short time there would be a widespread terror and a mad panic that would sweep across the cities and towns of the world and drive people to the edge of reason and sanity. Of course there would be always be a select few who would thrive, but the majority could not survive without the comforts of the 21st. Sad really.
